Spore Government sets up clubs for citizen abroad to meet and mingle.Overseas Singaporeans can now bond over roti prata , dim sum or Mahjong in Australia. Australia was chosen as it has the highest number of overseas Singaporeans. Launched yesterday in Melbourne and Sydney. You can read Singapore straits times etc… at the Stamford Plaza Melbourne.
OSU, is under the Prime Minister’s office, some 40,000 Singaporeans now reside in Australia. The purpose is to enable Singaporean overseas to find a place where they can gather, where they can eat, where they can socialize, and a place where they can get Singapore information.
