Ms Violet Lim, age 55 dressed in lack-lace top, grey Gucci beret and tight jeans, was dressed to party .But at the entrance of Powerhouse in Mega-club St James Powerhouse, a bouncer asked for her identity card, then denied her the 5 free drinks vouchers offered to women on ladies Night . The reason? She was "above 55" The 55 years old dating consultant , a mother of 2 grown children was told she had to pay for her drinks . she was so insulted , she left .
