I have 2 tables this year and anyone interested to join me for dinner please let me know . This will be my first attendance since 2004 .

In 2004 I was chosen to be the Main "Lor Chew" that was rather an auspicious year . In 2006 while in Melbourne I was chosen to the "deputy Lor Chew" . Its simply not easy to be "elected" . They say it is God's wish .

The seventh month in the Chinese calendar is the "Month of the Hungry Ghosts". Buddhists, Taoists and believers of Chinese folk religions believe that, during the "Ghost Month", the spirits of the dead wander the earth. During this period the chinese suspend all important activities and decisions. At its climax, they celebrate the Festival of the Hungry Ghosts. Avoid moving house, wedding plans are postpone till the eighth lunar month, and some even avoid going for a swim.
