I am deeply saddened by the news of TAO CHUAN HUAN death and extend my sincere condolences to his family. He was a good friend of my Dad and a great man of deep moral character. He will be missed.

John Tao and Nan Wah are my cousins. We grew up to-gether in Sembawang areas . I went to the wake last night to pay my respect and catch up with my fellow cousins.

Met up with Uncle Ong who was my dad's apprentice for 20 years , he told me how my dad ill treated him when he was an apprentice in my dad's tailor shop at Chong Pang Village .He is now a successful businessman in the tables chairs and tent hiring business . He should be thankful to my dad to grooming him to what he is to-day . I hope he will stop talking about the past hardship. Everyone lives was tough at that time .

At the wake I was told that T.C.KHOO, my beloved uncle, had passed away some two months ago .He was a wonderful man, who made a great impact on my life during my younger years. He may now rest in peace and will never be forgotten. To the Khoo’s family, please accept my deepest sympathy.

To-day , 20/09/07 as a matter of courtesy I called Lucia Hau (my cousin living in Hong Kong) that Uncle Khoo passed away . Apparently was told that she is unable to break the bad news to her mum as she is unwell and just out of the hospital .
