The Qing Ming Festival is also known as the Ching Ming Festival, which means 'Clear and Bright Festival'. This is a long-established Chinese festival that falls on the 104th day after the winter solstice. This day occurs generally around 5th of April according to the Chinese calendar. The Qing Ming Festival is the "All Souls' Day" observed among the Chinese people.

40-year-old Mount Vernon Crematorium to close but the Columbarium at Mount Vernon STILL remain OPEN ????
They say this......columbarium site is needed for redevelopment into a residential area and a park and When the timing of this movement is firm, the NEA will give next-of-kin ample two years' notice before the relocation of the niches can take place. Meanwhile, the site will continue to be maintained to preserve its serene surroundings.
