Uncle Peter is lying at Alexandra Hospital .The Doctor has been giving him morphine daily to relieve his suffering .Uncle Peter wanted to live out of his remaining days at home with his family members but I doubt this is possible. He understood that his condition was terminal and the end was near .It is always difficult to see him die; I know Uncle Peter did not want to live this way .Managing end-of-life is never easy. Uncle Peter is well loved by all .At family gathering he never failed to greet me and we chatted and wish me well . On the same note to Uncle Peter “Please stay alive as long as you want “

We live in an ageist society and grey hair marks you out as old, faded and soon invisible. Dye your hair might just help you to hang on to your job longer. But be realistic nobody is going to believe that you are young just because you got black jet hair at age 60 and above. Everybody thinks Simon Lee is an old fogey (he’s 50) just because he has a headful of grey hair .But he choose not to color his hair, just as some of us choose to do so. Nobody question Gee when she color her hair. Probably it’s part of the beauty regime. Mutton desperately trying to be lamb …I think it is cool to color your hair with some highlights .You could have wild red or purple streaks in your hair . Colorings hair became a woman’s routine, like getting regular haircuts and pedicures.
